19th MONDAY

Martine Coppens of the Belgian school, Vladimira Zakrevska and Alena Červenková of the Czech school went to the Slovak school and met the other teachers.

We talked about Story-telling and our products and planning the week.

The Italian teachers had problems with the flight and arrived at 5 p.m. in Ruzomberok and the Lithuanian teacher arrived at 3p.m. in Ruzomberok so they were not able to participate to the morning meeting.

At 6 p.m. all the participants met the headmaster of the Slovak school and the o= ther teachers for dinner.

During the dinner we spoke and finished the planning of the meeting.

20th TUESDAY

The meeting started at 9.= 30 a.m. All teachers went to see around the school and met all the Slovak teachers = and children at the school.

Organization of the final product – the Comenius Calendar „as a mean of dissemination among the institutions“ – Martine, Vladimira and Bibiana worked on it while the others discussed about The adventures of the Little Mole – Didactic Production – Story-telling. <= /span>

21st WEDNESDAY

The meeting started at 9.= 30 a.m.

We went to give the Calendar for printing. Afterwards every school talked about the products and presented them which every school did about Storytelling a= nd Meteo project. We discussed about positive and negative aspects of our work with teacher´s

or children´s products. We shared an ideas, documents, projects between = each school.

In the afternoon we started to do on final report.

22nd THUERSDAY

The meeting started at 9.= 30 a.m. and we finished the final report.

We were talking about the school system – and the main thing was that the schools in each country are different...different ages of chidren, different culture and different school systems.

We were talking about more mobilities for teachers´ exchange.=

Some participants planned a teachers´ exchange, so Italy and Belgium = will do it in June.

23rd FRIDAY

We visited the town Liptovsky Mikulas and its surrounding. Everyone was very happy and had a good time. We had very good feelings from the work which we have done together.

The Czech republic:

4th class – children made a workbook after watching „The Little Mole and his new trousers“.

-they were doing on the story “T= he Mole as a gardener“

Methodology: Vladimira used Simonetta&= acute;s material published on the web using a different method: she started cutting the pictures and asking the students to tell the story and only at = the end they watched the video. She also used a crossword made by Simonett= a.

9th class – pupils made the fing= er puppets, prepared sentences about the Little Mole and came to lower classes= on the 1st grade and did lesson for small pupils.

Vladimira showed the Calendar whi= tch was made by her and it is relating the meetings and the teachers´ exchang= es developed during three years.

They have also worked on the meteo pro= ject – Part of the work has been already published on the web-site – they will send other material and more information.

Lithuania:

-they worked on the story – Pino= cchio – Gaiva will send the material.

-they worked on their national tale &#= 8222;The queen of the serpents“ – they used their lesson plan =

and Gaiva will send a material= .

-they also worked on Slovakian famous = tale „ The three groschen“ – pupils drawed beautiful

pictures about this tale and wrote the dial= ogs into the pictures. It was made by pupils from

5th and 6th class.

Slovakia:

We worked on CLIL method and Storytell= ing.

2nd class – pupils made a t= heatre on Art lesson after watching a video. They made the theatre

= and paper puppets of the Little Mole and everyone chose second frien= d of mole.

= Afterwards children were playing with the puppets and talking about = the episode

= „ The Little Mole and Watermelon“ on English lesson. They combined Slovak

= lang= uage and English.

4th class – pupils made a b= ig poster about the „Story of The Little Mole and three bears“.

= They made a description of&nbs= p; each picture and wrote down next to the each picture.

6th class – we started to do on = our tale „The three groschen“ and continuation will be with

= pictures from Lithuanian childrens´ drawings. We are going to = put voices and

= make the P.P.P. with pupils´ voices.

Italy:

Story-telling:

Simonetta introduced the material o= f the Italian school:

Paola Comilli´s work on „The Little gull and the cat“ a reduction of L.Sepulvede story – the result is a booklet written and illustrated by the pupils.
Antoniette Larocca´s presentation of the work on one o= f the episodes of the „Little Mole“ – title „ A diamond or a star?“ – there are some slides showing the students work.
Simonetta´s didactic production – storytelling w= ith the 5th classes – works on Ice Age – P.P.P. with the illustration made by students – students reduced the story in ab= out 15 slides – they narrated the story and created new dialogs.

-&nb= sp; Production: P.P.P. with the narration made by the Linguistic assistent and the dialogues by the student= s.

Belgium:

Story-telling:

Vladimira and Eva went to Belgium (teachers´ exchange) and sta= rted with the Little Mole.

Pupils from pre-primary school watched the film (lesson ICT) and Vladimira with Eva

prepared a lot of activities for children.

-&nb= sp; Activities for little ones, English combined with French.

-&nb= sp; Teachers used a lot of material from the BELL web.

CLIL:

They have done grafitti of the Little Mole and his friends on the wa= lls outside the buildings

of the school.

Meteo:

1.&n= bsp; Cristine – 4th class

2.&n= bsp; Meaka – 5th and 6th cl= ass

They have done the worksheets with the children. They will continue with this theme in another project - the ecologic project about water= and energy.
