DIARY
During the Project meeting in Rome we agreed on having a monthly diary about project in each school Each school will send a short report about project activities that are going on.
NOVEMBER 2006	Zàkladnì Škola ZLÍN	Vladimíra has sent to us photos of the school with children writing letters to their Italian friends!		Vladimíra : I would like to write that Simonetta´s suggestions I used last week in the class with pupils from 3rd class. The lesson was nice, my pupils were satisfied and me too. Now I have given them the letters from her pupils and we will send letters next week I will make the photos and give them on BELL site.
	Iqbal Masih Rome			In Iqbal Masih school, children put in practice the suggestions about Halloween characters. On Tuesday 31st children of Second A class, after Halloween lesson by Magdalena, completed their masks and went around the school scaring each other!
		In Iqbal Masih school many discussions about Project during Teachers' Meeting. Then a small work group planned activities about ICE AGE, using CLIL.
		CLIL based activities are organized following the suggestions we discussed with Donatella Fitzgerald. In class second a nice art and craft activity with Autumn leaves.
	L.P. Boon Erembodegem	Teachers from L. P. Boon want to share with all the group their evaluation material. They prepared two different questionnaires to ask the children about their involvement during English lessons, one for Primary pupils and one for pre-primary classes.
		In L. P. Boon school teachers meet to have an in service training course : they discussed and shared ideas about material by Oxford University Press, like the book Treetops.

	Kauno Stasio Lozoraicio Vidurinè Mokykla Kaunas	In Kaunas teachers and pupils organized a very nice BELL stand.
JANUARY FEBRUARY 2007	In all partner schools lots of work about ICEAGE. We exchanged some mails about our families and our holidays..winter is so strange this year! No Ice at all!
	Kauno Stasio Lozoraicio Vidurinè Mokykla Kaunas		"We send a paper for evaluation . If it will be too difficult for small children you can simplify it. First we gave our students vocabulary from ''Ice age.'' and then they were asked to write small paragraphs . We are going to repeat this task a few more times to evaluate their progress." 	Iqbal Masih Rome		On line new tests for very young learners. Visit the school web site	A little worried about Comenius new deadline ( 30th March, now it's sure!) Comenius group is working on Cinema and Ice age.
	Zàkladnì Škola ZLÍN	Pupils of Zlìn seems to be very good at making Power point presentation!		A very interesting article about teaching children with special needs in our school.
		In our school we had a seminary for English teachers . It was prepared by publishing Macmillan. The title of the seminary was "Story telling " with small children. The teachers discussed about teaching small children, shared ideas and looked through pupil ´s books and another materials publishing by Macmillan. There are some photos from the seminary for our diary.
	L.P. Boon Erembodegem	In our country they made an ice scupture exhibition in Brugge about Ice Age. It was nice.
MARCH 2007	Iqbal Masih Rome	A group of workers of the school ( including administrative staff and headmistress) is starting a Course in English, Beginners level, to improve their communicative skills during European meeting. The fees are payed by Comenius budget, but they have to work hard during next weeks to attend their 30 hours tuition!

SEPTEMBER 2007		Four Italian teachers had the opportunity to attend two different in service training course Comenius 2.2: Storytelling in language teaching in England and ICT second level in Limerick, Ireland.
		We are back to school.. lots of things to do and to organize for next meeting! But we are having problems with National agencies and new LLP... we are still waiting for contracts!
OCTOBER 2007		Teachers' exchange from Erembodegem to Zlin
		Hooray!! Paola and Simonetta got an e-mail from Marika and Dada, new teachers at Nasa Skola, announcing their arrive and their intention to join Project activities and meetings! We all wellcome the new members of the group, hoping that this will mean having Slovak teachers and children participating to the project.

		Paola De Meo, class teacher in Iqbal Masih school prepares and sends a very interesting proposal of CLIL activities to be carried on in different schools. All the teachers of the project should read it , write at least some parts and send their documents to the others.
