SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT

BELL : BEGINNING EARLY LANGUAGE LEARNING

The main purpose of this project is to develop new early language learning/teaching methods in accordance with the Common European Framework which will promote an intercultural education programme focusing on the multiple intelligence theories and cross-curricular integration, hence also providing students with special needs better involvement in activities. Cooperation with the regional universities and teacher training institutions in technical terms on regular basis and carrying out an Action Research Process in early language education will be one of the major priorities of this project. Dissemination is planned to be achieved especially via the new project website(BELL-Beginning Early Language Learning) to be designed and monthly updated with the full support of the partner schools in the coordination of the coordinating school. We hope to achieve better performances in the use of target languages and develop a sense of belonging to the community at local, national and European level, as well as improving the social skills and open mindedness for other cultures and the diversity of languages.
